Been experimenting with an old photographic printing technique called Cyanotype. It’s pretty easy, and can be done at home safely as it is a non-toxic and archival procedure. you just need two chemnical which can be easily acquired at that store with the A and all the trucks. you combine equal parts of the chemicals Ferric Ammonium Citrate (2 oz) and Potassium Ferricyanide (1 oz). Then in low light, you coat your paper, cloth or what have you with the sensitive liquids. Now, be aware that they are sensitive to UV light , which means yiou can use the sun for exposures or you can purchase a low output UV light for exposing your projects. The UV light is probably better, as you have more control over it than the weather and the amount of UV THE SUN is spitting our on any given day.
below is my latest cyano type of the former John Waters movie star Divine. I loved Divine. She wore women’s clothing when cross dressing was asking for trouble, but the outfits were only the beginning. Divine was a freak and flew here freak flag like it was a Lear Jet. She was trashy, obnoxious, sometimes filthy and generally took pleasure in being a horrible shit disturber. She as was the most punk rock performer I had seen short of maybe Gibby Hayes and maybe Henry Rollins. In John Water’s movies, Divine had the courage to fuck shit up, and i loved her for it, and loved John Waters for always using here as his heroine.
Divine with unsolicited hairdo.
Mirror mirror on the wall, I…..’ll tell you who’s fucking ugly, no problem
